oak park vs chaminade

Columbia, MO - In a rematch of last years class 6 semi-final game Oak Park (30-1) took on Chaminade (20-10) this time for the state championship. These two teams seem to know each other well. The game had 5 lead changes, but on paper Chaminade had the lead for over 21 minutes. Oak Park played it very close the first 3 quarters before going on an 8 point run in the 4th helping their 24 point quarter.

Oak Park Zeek Brown led his team with 18 points before fouling out of the game late in the 4th quarter. Chaminade had the inside game working with Jamo White and Hadi White combining for 19 points. Jamo White also fouled out late in the 4th quarter as well.

Oak Park pulled away late in the 4th quarter to win their schools First State Championship in Boys Basketball. Coach Sherron Collins was extremely emotional as the time ticked down. While Chaminade is still looking for their 3rd championship. They ended their season the same way they did last year in 2nd place.

Staley vs incarnate word

Columbia, MO - Incarnate Word Academy Head Coach Dan Rolfes has created quite the dynasty for himself. Since winning his first state championship with Incarnate Word back in 2006 he has gone on to win 14 (including 2025) more. He could’ve added 1 more if not for the COVID year of 2020 being canceled. This year his Red Knights faced off against a strong Staley High School coming in with a 30 win season in hand.

After the first quarter is was clear these two teams were evenly matched tied at 11. Led by Seniors Peyton Hill who had 16 points and Navaeh Lucious who had 14 points the Red Knights would take control in the 2nd quarter heading into half with a 5 point 24-19 lead. Staley who leading scorer Londyn Parker tried to make a run in the 4th but the lead was too large. Incarnate Word would go on to win 55-41 capturing the Class 6 Missouri State Championship.
